The Future

As a result of the Federal Governments' National Airport's Policy, ownership of the Earlton-Timiskaming Regional Airport was transferred to the Corporation of the Township of Armstrong on June 11/97. The Airport is operated by a joint Airport Services Board consisting of area Municipal, Business, Health and Aviation representatives ensuring increased local input as to its future direction and operation.
